Our journey was inspired by Konstantinos Agas, a canine professional, Member of the Institute for Animal Care Education and trainer of rescue dogs. He has been travelling the world for more than 30 years, to train dogs how to search and rescue for mountain rescue services, fire brigades and others. Konstantinos is one of the few trainers in the world, who is 100% successful when it comes to training rescue dogs. In the course of his work he has noticed that there is a connection between the way dogs are fed and their sense of smell, their working capacity and levels of energy. While mastering the art of raw feeding, he had the chance to work with famous names in BARF history, like Dr. Tom Lonsdale and Dr. Ian Billinghurst, who is considered the founder of BARF. Thanks to the experience and knowledge, gained through the years, he is now creating perfectly balanced BARF menus for dogs and cats.
We are a group of friends and enthusiasts, who have gathered around the idea of raw feeding, also known as the BARF diet. Our aim is all of us to have healthier, happier and good looking pets.
There are a lot of myths and legends, concerning raw feeding and especially the risks it entails. There is a potential risk indeed, but it would rather come from lack of knowledge, especially concerning the process of food preparation, and not from a properly prepared raw food. At our factory we follow very high standards regarding quality, hygiene and professionalism. Every morning 2 tons of fresh meat and 300 kg fresh fruits and vegetables enter the factory. They come from selected farmers, and not from meat factories. All of the ingredients are sorted, grounded and mixed in perfect proportion, then packed and frozen. By the end of the day all of the raw materials have left the premises, which are being carefully cleaned and disinfected with UV rays. We are aware that compromising the quality of our product would compromise the whole idea of BARF, and we would not allow this. And what you can do is, you can allow your loved ones to at least try BARF and see for themselves. And you will see the difference too.
